Grand Targhee offers two skiable mountains, with 2000 acres of lift served terrain. Ski Magazine's Reader Survey has ranked Grand Targhee #2 for Snow, top ten for value, and Skiing Magazine ranked the resort #2 for snow! Ski Magazine has also rated Grand Targhee a top 3 Family Resort in the West!
The powder at the Grand Targhee is legendary, with an average of 500 inches of snowfall per year. Not only does Grand Targhee get more natural snowfall than most resorts, the snow is drier (less than 5% water content) making for exceptional powder skiing. In fact, Grand Targhee Resort is so confident in their snow conditions, that every day of the season they offer a no-questions-asked "Super Snow Guarantee". If for any reason you are not satisfied with the snow conditions at Grand Targhee, simply return your lift ticket to the Ticket Office within one hour of the time of purchase and you will receive a "Snow Check" good for another lift ticket!
A new "Terrain Park" was added at Grand Targhee in 2002-2003, with a great success. Ski school programs are offered, as well cross country skiing, snowboarding on all terrain, and 1000 acres reserved for Powder Cat Skiing!
